Investigate and use the genetic variability of sorghum for midge and striga tolerance/resistance. Investigate and use the genetic variability of sorghum for its adaptation to intercropping through traits such as duration, rooting ability, canopy structure, plant height, in association with cowpea, using a standard cowpea tester.
