Activity/Product Description
Developing of new seed parents (A/B) and restorer parents of pearl millet for West and Central Africa utilizing the local germplasm base. The developed A/B pairs and restorers will be shared with NARs in Niger, Mali, Burkina Faso, Senegal , Nigeria and Ghana. This activity will provide the basic foundation for hybrid pearl millet in West Africa.
