  Activity/Product Description

1. Refine existing APSIM modelling platform to understand and quantify the post-rainy sorghum system limitations (parameterize range of farmers preferred post-rainy sorghum cultivars; increase resolution of simulation grid). 2. Evaluate sensibility of the platform in-silico and predict effect of various GxM interventions on crop production. 3. Test the most promising of predicted GxM interventions in-vivo across rabi sorghum target regions. 4. Enable the validated platform as a decision making support to the sorghum breeding programmes through open access data bases.
