Innovation TitlePolicy recommendations to harness the potential of youth in Nigeria
Innovation description This policy recommendations build on understanding the aspirations of youth, considering differentiations in this age group to leverage their increased participation in rural development through agricultural engagements. Underpinning findings to this study suggest a pragmatic and coordinated approach to youth empowerment need to be undertaken to understand and examine the diversity of young people - by gender, cultural setting, and aspirations, towards engaging youth, and to democratize access to and use of agricultural technologies.
