Innovation Title | Fish powder for new livelihood opportunities for women in Timor-Leste |
Innovation description | The fish based powder is made of fish, moringa leaves, dried shrimp, roasted sesame seeds, onion powder, salt, pepper, sugar, oil and cooked chili. The idea to make fish-based powder came from the women themselves. WorldFish has been doing research with the community for many years . Having previously received training on making fish-based powder, the women decided to build on these existing skills. Doing so enables them to improve their livelihoods. |
