Innovation TitleDried Small Fish Species (SIS) powder as complementary food in Myanmar targeting particularly young children
Innovation description Dried small fish powder has been introduced in communities in several countries in Africa and Asia, by WorldFish and partners. To explore suitable entry points for introducing small fish powder in Myanmar, WorldFish is collaborating with a local business partner, FedWell Foods. The homemade fish powder can be introduced as a complementary food for children over 6 months-old. The home-made fish powder is particularly beneficial for young children (06-23 months) as a complementary food.
