Innovation description Hatcheries play a crucial role in aquaculture since availability of quality fish seed at desirable time is one of the most decisive factor to increase production, vertical expansion and growth of the industry. The Better Management Practices for Indian major carp hatcheries refers to a set of standard management practices guidance that are developed based on existing practices and associated risks to support the seed producers in India to produce and deliver quality carp seeds.
