General information

Innovation ID343
Version ID260
Innovation TitleFive soybean (high yield & large size) and six cowpea genotypes (multi-traits) selected for further integration into cropping systems in Mozambique
Innovation description Five soybean genotypes with yields ranging from 5.1-5.8 tons/ha with large seed size (15.2 to 25.9 g/100-seed) have been selected. For cowpea, the top six high- yielding genotypes had yields ranging from 1.2-1.5 tons/ha and four were selected by farmers based on six traits (high yield, early maturity, pods load, cooking time, taste, and pest and disease resistance.
