Innovation Title | Gender-inclusive sustainable livelihood diagnostic tool |
Innovation description | All too often ‘sustainable livelihood projects’ fail because the local context is not a good match to an external idea or crucial external factors are not known or properly considered. Community members are in many ways best placed to assess the potential livelihoods that best match their situation and this guide aims to assist their efforts in understanding external factors that may be important and local strengths and weaknesses to work with. |
