Stage Description | 1780 Women Self Help Groups (17,800 individual women) in Odisha started fish farming in long-term leased public ponds (1600 Ha) which were under-utilised earlier for fish production, by implementing Better Management Practices. Government schemes in place to support the Women Self Help Groups to do that. |
